For those of you with more time to spend cruising, we offer longer trips to the world famous Florida Keys and Key West.  Most people know the Florida Keys and Key West as a great getaway as they are one of the most unique places on earth. The Keys are calm, serene, and layed back with water that is gin clear which is just the right setting to recharge and rejuvenate your spirits.  A getaway to the Florida Keys and Key West is much more than peace and quiet – it’s an adventure to paradise!

Starting at the northern most Key, Key Largo is known as the diving capital of the world. America's most dazzling underwater parks and reefs are waiting for you here.  Scuba, snorkeling or swimming whether it is at John Pennekamp State Park and the National Marine Sanctuary, to the crystal clear waters of Molasses Reef and the underwater caves of the French Reef your in water experience will be spectacular. Or for those who want to go shore side there is plenty more to do like a family outing to Harry Harris Park or visit Dolphins Plus or Dolphin Cove where you can actually go swimming with the friendly and highly intelligent dolphins.

Moving south from Key Largo, we come across Islamorada which is known as the sport fishing capital of the world.  Try your hand at catching dolphin (mahi-mahi), tuna, wahoo, sailfish and even blue marlin!  We will also make sure to stop by Robbie’s to hand feed the 100+ pound tarpon!

The next place along the route is MarathonMarathon is the “heart of the Keys.”  The Dolphin Research Center is here and was once the site of Flipper’s Sea School and where Flipper’s original 1950’s movie was shot.  While much of Henry Flagler’s railroad to Key West was destroyed by a hurricane, you can still travel along side the historic Seven Mile Bridge, one of the only parts of his railroad track left standing. Of course, your visit to Marathon would not be complete without checking out the old conch houses on Pigeon Key, which is only accessible from the old Seven Mile Bridge or boat. Finish up your day with a nice, refreshing dip in the inviting waters of Sombrero Beach.

The next 20 miles or so of the Keys is known as the Lower Keys.  This area offers some of the best snorkeling in all of the Keys at Looe Key.  Back ashore on Big Pine Key is the Key Deer National Wildlife Refuge which is home to several hundred miniature deer.  If you want to see them, the best times are early morning and dusk.

At the end of the road is Key West.  There is simply no place quite like it in the world. An island city of palm-lined streets boasting Victorian homes, gingerbread conch houses and mansions on the National Register. John Audubon, Ernest Hemingway, and Jimmy Buffet lived here.  One had a passion for preservation, the others, a great zest for living.  That is the combination that gives Key West its unique personality.

The moment you get set foot on world-famous Duval Street, in Old Town Key West, you do more than feel the ambiance. You become a part of it.  Sure, Key West is dive shops, charter boats and glorious sunsets but it’s also a Bahamian Village, historic forts, lighthouses, theaters, museums, galleries, festivals, markets, sidewalk cafes and legendary pubs.  You can even visit Truman’s Little Whitehouse or see Hemingway's 6 toed Cats.
