Deep Sea Fishing

The Gulf of Mexico offshore of Ft. Myers, Florida is a great place to go fishing for many species of fish.  Bottom fishing over the many reefs, ledges and wrecks offshore is very productive for several species of grouper and snapper.

Bottom fishing for grouper and snapper is good most any time of the year.  Other game fish such as kingfish, mackerel, cobia, tuna, amberjack, dolphin (mahi-mahi), barracuda, tarpon, permit, sharks, and giant redfish are all caught as they seasonally migrate through the waters of the Gulf of Mexico offshore of the Ft. Myers coastline.
